Peter Lyngdorf has dedicated his entire life to the relentless pursuit of the perfect
sound. At age 11, the Beatles inspired Peter to buy his first tape player, which he intuitively
rebuilt to improve the speaker quality without any professional training or education. As a
teenager, he developed a desire for improving audio reproduction and began creating his
own speakers for family and friends. Peter’s passion for music and sound led to his early
independence when he moved out at age 15 to focus on audio. What followed has been a
prolific career punctuated by more than 30 years of pioneering innovation in home audio.
